The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a significant development in our Indian education system introduced in 2022. It's a standardized national entrance exam conducted by India’s National Test Agency that acts as a single gateway for admission to undergraduate programs in many universities across the country.
CUET is crucial for students aiming for higher education, especially those targeting prestigious central universities like Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, and many more. It also offers a wide range of courses and disciplines which serves as an all-in-one place for students.
Class 12 Passed or Appearing: You must have passed your Class 12 exams from a recognized board or be appearing for them in 2024.
Minimum Marks: The minimum qualifying marks depend on the category you belong to. Generally, it's 50% for the general category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates.
Subject Requirements: CUET doesn't have specific subject requirements. Therefore, you have to check with your desired universities for any subject-specific requirements they might have.
There is no age limit
CUET follows a well-defined structure that assesses your multiple skills across various areas. Here is a breakdown of Exam format:
